About us

Applied Robotics and Mechatronics Laboratory (ARM-lab) at the Technical University of Košice, Slovakia focuses on developing advanced methods for robot control and learning in uncertain and dynamic environments. Our research addresses key challenges in robot–environment interaction, including adaptive behavior, robust motion control, and learning-assisted modeling. These concepts are validated across a wide range of robotic platforms, including robotic manipulators, continuum and soft robots, and snake-like robots. Rather than concentrating on a single robot class, ARM-lab aims to develop general principles and algorithms that enhance robot performance and reliability in real-world conditions.
